About Fluiten
Fluiten has designed and manufactured mechanical seals for rotating shafts since 1962, and makes everything in Italy in a 10,000 m² factory near Milan.
A propeller shaft seal separates the inside of the hull from the sea. It is a small part with a large failure mode, and it is the reason we hold Fluiten stock rather than ordering on demand. Our technicians trained on Fluiten seals in 2023.
