This privacy notice explains how MS1 Marine Service L.L.C (“MS1”, “we”, “us”) handles personal data when you use www.ms1.ae or contact us through it.
Who we are
The data controller is MS1 Marine Service L.L.C, a company registered in the United Arab Emirates.
Main workshop and warehouse: Warehouse LV28-B, Phase 2, Al Hamriyah Free Zone, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.
What we collect
Enquiry form. When you send an enquiry we collect the details you enter: name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, vessel information, length, location, the services you select, and your message. A hidden honeypot field is used only to detect automated spam; people do not fill it in.
Technical data. Our hosting provider may process standard server and security logs (for example IP address, browser type, pages requested and time of request) to operate and protect the website.
Optional embeds. If you press play on a project video, YouTube may process data under Google’s terms. If you press “Show map” on a location map, Google Maps may process data under Google’s terms. Until you do that, those services are not loaded.
Analytics. If cookieless Cloudflare Web Analytics is enabled, Cloudflare processes aggregated traffic measurements. It is not used to identify you as an individual.
Why we collect it
We use enquiry details to reply to you, prepare quotations, and follow up on work you asked about. We use technical and security data to keep the site working and to reduce spam and abuse.
We process this information because it is necessary to take steps at your request before entering a contract, to pursue our legitimate interests in operating a business website and responding to enquiries, and where required to meet legal obligations. Where UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 (Personal Data Protection Law) applies, we handle personal data in line with that law.
Who we share it with
We use service providers who process data for us:
- Cloudflare — website hosting, security and (when configured) Turnstile spam protection and Web Analytics
- Make and ActiveCampaign — routing and handling of website enquiries when those tools are connected
- Email — delivery of enquiry notifications to our team
- Google (YouTube and Maps) — only if you choose to play a video or open an embedded map
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as needed to run the website, answer your enquiry, or where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiry records are kept for as long as needed to handle your request and for a reasonable period afterwards for business records and follow-up (typically up to 24 months, unless a longer period is required for an active job, dispute or legal obligation). Server and security logs are retained for a shorter operational period set by our hosting provider.
Your rights
Subject to applicable UAE law, you may ask us to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, or to object to certain processing. To use these rights, email us at the address above or write to us at the Sharjah address above. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
Changes
We may update this notice from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do.
