Yacht wrapping

A wrap changes the colour of a boat in days rather than weeks, at a fraction of the cost of a respray, and it comes off again.

What we do

We change a yacht’s colour with film instead of paint: any colour, any graphic, on exterior and interior surfaces. We also fit transparent paint protection film, which protects the existing paint without changing its colour, and thermal window film.

A wrap costs a fraction of a full respray and takes days rather than weeks, with no loss of finish quality.

How we do it

The film we use is specified for UAE heat and salt water. We work with 3M and Avery Dennison.

We apply it in our own facility. A wrap laid in the open yard picks up dust under the film, and you cannot get it out afterwards. Once it is on, upkeep is soap and water.

Why it matters here

The original paint stays underneath, protected from UV and salt. Remove the wrap and the hull is as it was, which is why wrapped boats hold their value at resale. Window film cuts solar gain and glare, and keeps the interior temperature down at anchor.

Who does it

Our own team, employed by MS1 and trained with Mimetika Marine in 2022.
